I own a stock 7710 w/a Denso mechanical pump. How would I go about changing the injection timing for more power and adding more fuel? I just dynoed the tractor at 157hp but I know that these engines can make up to 300+. This will not be a pulling only tractor but I wanted to play with fuel and timing to get the most out of it in stock form. I also have a straight pipe on it. Thanks for your time.

It's possible the clutch & drivetrain won't like 300+ HP & fail.

You remove the tamperproof plastic cover on the back of the governor.
Remove the 4 bolts on the cover.
Under the cover you will see a small screw & nut at the bottom. 10 or 12mm nut.
PAYING ATTENTION to where the screw flat is.. loosen the nut and screw the screw *in* 1/2 - 1 turn.. and lock the nut down.
KEEPING IN MIND> you can do serious damage to your engine by overfueling it.. 1/2 turn isn't going to melt it but 1 turn and your rolling black smoke.. overfueled.
Best to put it on a dyno to see what your results are.. find you max hp and back it down 1/2 turn.. that way you'll have some reserve when you really need it..

There are timing adjustment screws in the drive gear infront of the injection pump..
