Hey there I have started to notice that when i press the lever for the rear locker and press the fwd/reverse pedals the locker starts to click and i can feel the lever engage/disengage on my heel if that makes sense. It almost feels as that with my heal down the lever rides up and down as the diff rotates?

What can this be?

Thanks.

Locking mechanism is not fully engaging. Could either be a linkage travel adjustment issue or the teeth on the locking collar/diff are shot.

Are there other symptoms that would indicate locking collar/diff gears that are shot?

You could drain the fluid pull the strainer screen. Then look up into the hole with a flashlight. If can get the right angle, you should be able to see the locking mechanism and assess the condition of the teeth.

have you check the linkage for wear and proper adjustment.
