JD 755 Engine to Transmission driveshaft installation

Hey all,

I need to replace the seal on the transmission output shaft/engine driveshaft, i took it all apart and i cant remember how the isolator and driveshaft are bolted 1/5" together. The isolator has three raised spacers and 3 level spacers, the driveshaft bolts to either the raised spacers or the level spacers and im not sure.

Also its a really tight spot to try and drive in the new seal, i tried to remove the charge pump but i cant due to a large diameter pipe in the way, all references i have found online show it just sliding off without a hitch.

Now that i have broken the o ring seal i really need to get it off to change the o-ring unless you guys think it will be fine?

Does anyone have photos of the installation of the driveshaft?

hey guys, yes i saw both those posts and i went to JD parts....i felt that the lower line cap bolt going into the isolator is a bit blury it kind of looks like it could go into the raised hole or the lower hole so i was looking for clarification.

I way I "see" the drawing in post #2 is:

Bolt and washer 11 & 12 go through the hole of 4, then the NON raised part of 2

Bolt 3 goes through the "U" cutout of 4, then the raised part of 2
