JD 750 Price

Hello,

I'm thinking of looking at a JD 750 4wd. Not sure of the year, but the picture looks good. It has a 60" back blade, belly mower and 60" snow blower as well as a cab. The asking price is $8500. 1650hrs.

Is this a good price?

JD 750 w/ FWD - I view 8500 as a fair dickering start. Even without the equipment. Those Yanmar built JDs are rock solid if in good condition. I ran a 650 w/ 2WD for 10+ years and sold it (sadly) for the same price I paid w/ 1500 hours in good shape.

I am looking at a 2550 hr, 750, 4WD, with loader and the asking price is $6500. From what I have researched it seems to be a good little tractor.

I just bought a 4 WD JD770 with front loader and box blade for $6800. With 730 hrs on it.

My dad's 750 from early 80's is still a great machine. I think only one minor repair in nearly 30 years!

Curious does it have power steering? It must have the front PTO to drive the mid mower. Is the snow blower front or rear mounted?

Every attachment is worth money. Mower - 1500 at least, blower 1500. Only thing missing is a loader and these are really handy. Agree it is reasonable although most people prefer hydro. Hours are real good and this is a good tractor.

Reason why previous poster asked about blower is front blowers are worth more than rear blowers usually.

I bought a 1985 JD 750 4WD this past year for $4500CDN, it was up for sale at an auction with some bad wiring, but it ran just fine, 3600 hours on it and it looked like new. It was maintained by a dealer and is in great shape. I started using it for pulling logs out of the forest and plowing snow, for a 20hp diesel, it gets a lot of work done. I fixed up all the electrical issues and I couldn't be happier with it, but I think I'll be even happier once I find a FEL for it and some other attachments.
