My 2008 JD 7330 speedometer reads in kilometers per hour (kph) instead of miles per hour (mph).

Can this be switched?

I would like to switch my speedometer to kph from mph, but haven't figured out how yet. Other brands just have a push button on dash kph/mph. Hopefully someone here knows the answer.

Prolly so simple that the manual writers don't figure it is worthy of adding the "how to switch" info.
But not simple when one just doesn't know.

I'd lay the question on my dealer.. salesperson right quick. ;)

The display is able to be changed. It can be a "dealer only" adjustment. Is your tractor a Premium 7330? If so then it can be adjusted with Command Center display. If it is not a Premium model and does not have Command Center, then it is a dealer only adjustment. A computer will need to be plugged in to access the setting. The BCU controller needs to be accessed and change setting on address 24. There is a 2 digit number at address 24. A "10" will be for audible turn signal with MPH reading, a "11" is audible turn signal and KPH readings. "00" is for silent turn signal and MPH, "01" is for silent turn signal and KPH.

Thanks.

Mine is not a premium.

JD110 since you seem to be an expert I have another question which may be Dealer Only. My flashers are on whenever I have the headlights on. Can this be changed?

I am not aware of any way to make the warning lights operate differently. The first "on" position does have flashers on with headlights and rear taillights. The second "on" position should not have flashers unless separate flasher switch is on. The third position should not have flashers either. If flashers are on all the time, there could be a wiring problem or a stuck relay.

To convert from kph to mph, just multiply by 0.6. Easy to do in your head, precise enough. Until you can get your dealer to change it.
