JD 655 smokes no power

What size mower deck? When I bought my 755, the JD dealer told me he wouldn't sell me a 655 with a 60" mower, because it was too marginally powered for that.

Its only a 50" deck.

Was going to work on it yesterday. But of course the battery was dead. maybe Sunday?
