Another question on my JD 630. I recently used the powershaft for the first extended period of time (couple of hours) on a 3-point brush hog type mower. For the most part, I thought it worked well, but over time the powershaft clutch got where it would not stay engaged. I see in the shop manual where the clutch can be adjusted. Is the clutch being out of adjustment a likely culprit for this kind of behavior, or is there something else I need to look at?

Thanks,
Josh

Likely "culprit"..
There is an adjusting cam (key # 56) that I'd suspect needs your attention.
Using it as is, when slipping, will sooner rather than later mean new clutch plates.
