NH TD 5050
I am in the market for a different utility tractor. I am considering a New Holland TD5050 or a JD 6215 MFWD. There seems to be quite a few 5050's on the market but no one can tell me why. Some have low hours, less than 1,000. The 6215 has over 4,600 hrs. Should I be concerned with the higher hrs on the JD? Does anyone have information about the TD5050? I realize the NH is a little bigger HP, but either tractor should be fine for my operation.

The TD is the "cheap" built in Turkey tractor, same as the CIH JX / Farmall series. Old Fiat design. Gear drive, dry clutch and synchro shuttle. Think 6215 is economy version of 6220, likely 16F/16R power quad / LH shuttle

No experience operating either.

From what I see on Tractordata.com the power is splitting hairs, both have 80pto hp. The 6215 has fully synchronized transmissions where the NH TD5050 has partially synchronized transmissions.

I don't have experience with either one but will be watching this thread with interest.
