1954 John Deere 60
I have a 1954 JD 60 that I am trying to add a loader to. The loader is homemade but in good shape and worked well on the 50 it was on. I want to be able to use the three point hitch as well as the loader. I assume I need to add a hydraulic pump and controls to operate the loader. I don't want to run my pump off the PTO because then I would have to remove it rendering the loader useless to attach a brush hog. Is there a place to mount a secondary hydraulic pump on this tractor. Thanks for the advice.

There is a live hyd pump that mounts between the governor housing and the distributor

Where can I tap into the pump to run a loader. The tractor only has one control, so I need a separate set of controls for the loader one two way valve for the arms and one for the bucket.

Open center two spool control valve. Use only from for supply and back into the small HP line from the power beyond. The return line back to the Power-trol reservoir. Make certain there is a relief valve set for 1300psi over something is going to split or break.
