Update, removed the cooler and took it to our local radiator shop. Held 50 lbs. with no leaks. Didn't want that outcome ! I guess its head time !

Based on the symptoms, that was a very likely outcome, but hopefully it's just a head gasket rather than a warped/cracked head....fingers crossed!

Another option is,,, go to your local Napa dealer etc, get a "exhaust sniffer" its a kit that will test for fumes that emanate from your rad to confirm you have a head gasket leak, works real good....
Once you have confirmed you have a leaky head gasket, Look up " bluedevil " in google and watch a few videos on this stuff.
All I can say is, "it does work".
