I just bought this tractor and think I got a steal.

Tractor has a 541 FEL, cab with air and am/fm/cd. Also got a Miller Bobcat 250 NT welder (with only 12 hours), a 2003 Mongoose 32' tandem dual with dovetail and ramps, a bucket, pallet forks, hay spears front and back, post hole digger, John Deere MX6 shredder, a Land Pride 8' harrow disc and 10 large ratchet straps, 2 36' chains and booms.

Bought the tractor with 179 hours.

All for $40,800

Tractor and loader is probably worth over $40K alone.
Bobcat is $3K new.
Trailer is $5K

You should feel ashamed.

If you are like me, need a good deal to make up for all the losers along the way. You did awesome on that deal.

I did not know the guy. I found it on Craigslist. I have bought tons of stuff on Craigslist. It is a great way to find anything you are wanting.

If I had seen that deal on Craigslist, I'd have thought it was a scam.

How many hours on the tractor? It looks like low hours by the tires, maybe a bit of paint dullness caused by storing outdoors. Looks like you bought a rig that somebody used for foodplots, fencing and shredding etc...

I definitely had my doubts about the deal until I was hauling it all home. I figured that it was worth the drive even if it was too good to be true. Turned out that this guy just wanted to sell his stuff. Tractor only had 179 hours and he had bought it new in '03. So whatever he did with it he didn't do very often. The tractor tires are like new and it was stored outside so it is slightly faded. I will be storing it under cover now so it will look as good as it does now for many years.

I think you will see more and more of these bargains as the economy continues to get worse. Seems like I am seeing more for sale ads in the paper. Prices are low for late model utility tractors.
