JD 5510 Problem

I was brush cutting in the back field when our 5510 just quit (it has just over 6000 hours). It turns over, there is over half a tank of fuel, I checked the fuel filter, bleed the system (fuel is comming out of the injector bleeder but not a lot), it did run for a few minutes then died again.
Anyone have any ideas?

Clogged fuel filter or air filter would be my first two guesses.
It doesn't sound like a safety switch since it ran for a few minutes.

I'd suggest you replace the fuel filter first and see if it starts. If it doesn't, replace the air filter. If it still doesn't start, it's possible it skipped timing.
