Oil & Fuel JD 5403 Hydraulic Oil Filter change

Here is another item the owners manual is not specific on....how often to change the filter after the first 1000 hours? And how often to pull and clean the metal screen filter?

Prolly no way to state how often, unless the conditions running in were known. As well, the condition of the engine at 1000 hours.

Only could suggest that go with the best guess of the operator... and what feels good.

The alternative is to wait until something bad happens, then it be too late.
