I have a JD 2320 and the 54" Front hitch blade. This winter in the northeast was harsh and on a few occassions being out there plowing for an hour or more the snow would ice up in/around the angling piston. Upon turning the blade to the left it would cause the hydraulic fluid to leak because the snow (now iced) was pushing on the hydraulic connector. My workaround was to keep getting off the tractor and clean this out whenever possible. On a few occassions when I was not seeing the snow in there the force eventually caused the 90 degree elbow to fail and continually leak fluid. I have bypassed the elbow and tighened everything up but I am unable to move the blade fully to the left or the angling kit will exert force on the hydraulic cable and cause fluid to leak out of the elbow. This is similar to what was occurring when the 90 degree swivel elbow was there before it failed.

Not sure what my best options are here. I was not completely happy with the dealer's advice. I sure wish Deere had a better piston design.
Hoping this forum can give me some ideas.

This pic shows the the hose issue. After turning the blad back I had fluid leaking out from this.

have you tried fabing it by checking your cal manufacturers to build you a custom cal with a side mount instead of of bottom with same mount ears in same location
