The fuel guage stays at empty. I do measure resistance across the connectors of the sensing unit. Also have about 4 volts DC to it. Guage never moves. Sound familiar to anyone?
If you take both wires off the sensor and put them together. With the tractor NOT started and the key in the run position does the fuel gauge go to full? If the gauge does not go to full, then problem is in the cluster or the wiring to the cluster.

I have the same problem with the fuel guage on my 5225. It used to read empty when about 3/4 full. Starting yesterday, the tank is full and the guage still reads empty. I'll try JD5210's suggestion.
