JD 5045E Lift link keeps unscrewing??

I think the bungee cord is to put between the draft links when you have nothing attached that way they are not swing around. That is how I use the bungee cord. At least on my draft links there is a little melt loop, that some people put the pins in, when not in use.

It's the first pic. That handle keeps unscrewing by itself what if it took the grease ports out and puts screws where they were. When I need to grease it, take screws out and put grease ports back in? What does that sound like?

I tell you personally mine are a little different but I rarely adjust it and since mine stays under cover and we don't live in a salty environment grease them or anti seize them once and they should be good for quite some time. Replacing the zerks with set screws would work I would think.

My 2 cents. If you use a set screw you most likely are going to damage the threads, but if you can find a plastic or brass screw you may be alright.

Until I watched the video from everythingattachments on using a box blade, must admit I could not see how it was used.

part #12 is for keeping the draft links out of your tires when there is no implement. On my 5083E, that winged handle sits down on/beside a lug that keeps it from turning. Did yours not come with that?

Do you not have a lock and unlock position on your leveling system, like this? Locked is left photo. Or does it somehow still turn in the locked position?

On my JD6415 there is a "seal" part #5 in the drawing. Like the O=Ring idea, only HD.

Well I look and feel like an idiot. It does have what y'all are talking about. I didn't have the brain power to come up with lifting the handle off the pin, turning the handle half a turn then it would fall down and lock it just like the picture. Guess that's why there are forums like this. Problem solved. Thanks guys
