Tractor
Massey Ferguson GC1705, John Deere STX46
We were having our trailer loaded with mulch a few days ago and I noticed the engine speed of the tractor went up and down with the amount of effort. For example, it would rev up while filling the bucket and lifting but would idle back down very quickly when there was no load on the hydraulics/engine. Pretty sure it was a John Deere 5035 and didn't notice the operator working the throttle that much.

Could it be that this tractor will rev the engine up and down depending on load? It sounds like a silly question but Enquiring minds want to know... :D

5035 won't actually be a model #. But many Deere tractors have some form of auto throttle or load sensing these days or could be that it was just a good operator with a foot throttle. They can make it look easier than it really is.
