Rotary Cutter JD 503 Rotary Cutter modifications for JD iMatch Quick-Hitch

Bought a 503 Bush Hog with my 3720. Interested in an iMatch Quick-Hitch, but only if I can make it work with the 503.

Understand from dealer that 503 was not built to fit the iMatch.

Has anyone made these two work together? What's involved?

It may or may not be possible...

Look at the manuals for the newer JD cutters and note the difference/modifications that would be necessary.
Also, go to the Woods Equipment website and download the operator's manual for the 60" Bush Bull. I have a Bush Bull and there is a procedure in the manual for reconfiguring the 3PH frame for QH compatibility. I have a Deere QH and it does work well.
Don't be too surprised if your 503 is of Woods manufacture. Deere uses Woods and BEFCO as sources for many of their implements.
