JD 4720 with 400x loader, getting loose where mast and end plates attach

I saw a similar post with a different loader from mine. My loader has round
opposed to the more square ends. There was a shim kit available for it ....
has anyone used a shim kit on the 400x loader to fix this problem?

Check your loader manual. There are adjusting bolts on the locks. The manual tells how to adjust them.

Are you talking about where the masts attach to the frame of the tractor?
I have a 4120 and 400X loader and am really close to Walls and will try and help figure out your problem best I can.

I've had the same problem on my 400X loader. Adjusting the bolts as Chevy mentioned above fixed mine. See your Operators Manual.
