Yes you can still get a vertical exthaust for your 4710. go to jdparts.com you can look up parts so you have the numbers you need when you go to the dealer. The kit your looking for is kit # LVB250013 you will need to cut a part of your hood they give you a template in the kit.

I have a 4610, the next size down, with an ehydro transmission and about 415 hours on it. Have the 460 loader. The tractor is absolutely bullet proof, and I use it hard. Only regret is I didn't get the 4710 with a little more power. The ehydro really sucks the power away from the PTO. I was considering trading up to a 20-series, but the Yanmar engines in the older 10-series are known quantities, and I've heard there are some teething problems with the new JD turbo engines in the 20s.
