JD 4710 Throttle Tension Adjustment

I have a JD 4710 and would appreciate any guidance on how to adjust the tension of the throttle lever.
When running either my tiller or bush hog at 2500 rpm the throttle wants to drop to around 1900 due to the vibration.

Pretty easy fix. Just trace the lever back to where it pivots and tighten the friction washers by turning the nut tighter. Probably takes a 15mm socket or wrench, or close to that size.
If you have a problem, I can look it up on the CD manual I have, and see if there are any additional hints.

Thanks for the information, do you know if I have to remove the dashboard to get to the friction washers?
In looking at the dash of my 4710, it appears there is no other access to the base of the throttle unless I remove the entire dash.

I've been looking in the repair CD and have not found the specific procedure for getting to the throttle lever adjustment. I believe I removed the instrument panel (4 fasteners) and then removed the right plastic panel being careful to remove all fasteners to avoid breaking any plastic tabs. A couple of mine were broken and I think it was when the fogging dash was changed out under warranty, and the mechanics were a bit too zealous with doing the work quickly. I fiberglassed the cracked tabs and think it is better than new. But go carefully.
The removal and installation of the instrument panel said to remove the steering wheel, but I am sure I didn't do that. Seems it tilts away far enough to not be a problem. And I think you just need to lift the instrument panel enough to get at the side panel anyway.
