I知 new to this form. Thanks for the add. I just got a 1999 model JD 4600 2wd from my dad. It had been sitting up for probably a year. When I got it cranked none of the hydraulic was working and it had a bad leak on the steering cylinder. I added some hydraulic fluid cranked it back up and it was milky so I drained all of it Then took the cylinder off and had it fixed. Bought a new inlet suction screen and external filter and put all new fluid in it. The bucket and rear hydraulics worked good but the rear pto still won稚 engage. The light is on and seat switch is jumped out. I turned the key on and pulled pto switch and climbed under the tractor and had 12v to the solenoid. So I pulled solenoid off thinking I would be able to pull the rod it sits on out but couldn稚 figure out how to get it out? I知 thinking the valve is probably stuck from the moisture ? Is the rod the solenoid sits on the valve? And if so how do I get it out? Or do I have to pull the whole block to get down into the valve? Sorry for all the questions. Any help and or pictures would be greatly appreciated!!!
