It looks like the big thing you were missing on the 5203 is 4wd which accounts for most of the price difference due to current market conditions. In the last several years there has been a collapse in the market for 2wd tractors as people have learned that 4wd's are more fuel efficient and much better for loader work. The used market is litterally flooded with 2wd's in good condition and they can be had for pennies on the dollar compared to 4wd's. Demand exceeds supply for used 4wd's which forces most folks to buy new, and keeps new prices high relative to new 2wd's. These days, it does not make much sence to buy a new 2wd when there are so many good condition, cheap, used ones out there.
