Has anyone had issue with the Center pivot on the 448BH? I have a 2007 3320 with 448BH and I noticed squeaking from the backhoe the other day when I was using it. After taking a closer look.. I found that I am unable to grease the center pivot zerk on the backhoe.. I removed the zerk fitting and made sure it wasn't clogged.. reinstalled it.. and am still unable to grease the pivot. Has anyone experienced this? Is it hard to dissassemble? I am not sure why, if grease flows thru the zerk, I would be unable to grease the pivot point? I am hesitant about using the backhoe with the center pivot dry. Can someone confirm the connection type? is it bearings or just a bushing?

any help would be appreciated.

Here is the likely reason: There is "pressure" on the pivot so the grease can not get into it. Use the hoe to take some weight off of the pivot and I will bet it will take grease. My front axle pivot is the same way, if I don't lift the front off the ground (usually with the loader) then I can't grease it.

On my 447 I move it left and right as I put pressure on grease gun. This normally does the job.
