JD 4410 w/eHydro - looking for Rototiller advice

Just to give some input on the CCM tiller. It is the best tiller for the money on the market. All gear drive tillers by other manufactures are a lot more expensive. Give Mark a call and find out about them.

Thanks for the feedback. Your link took me to a main page on Kuhn's website that did not list any models but using their menu system I found three models that are 60":

When I bought the tiller I had some problems with the blades. I broke a couple in soft loam which was very disappointing for me. I called the dealer I bought from and they gave me 4 new blades and told me that if I broke any more they would replace the whole set. Well it was only me next trip into the soil and I broke another one. The dealer promptly couriered a full set. I put the new set on and found a bunch more that were ready to break, 13 in total. The mechanic at the dealer said that they were probably torqued to much from the manufacturer. The dealer was excellent and I have not heard a thing from kuhn requesting the broken blades or the blades that were still ok. I have spares now. The dealer told me that Kuhn wouldn't have a problem. The dealer was very surprised that I even broke a blade as they have sold many of these tillers and never had a problem.
[*]What kind of discount off MSRP would you expect to find?
Mine was discounted almost 1500.00, which at the time was a limited offer. I have no idea about their discount right now.

When I compared the Kuhn to the same size in the Frontier model (RT1160) the Kuhn was 170lbs heavier, that weight has to be somewhere in the construction. When operating a tiller extra weight to the ground is a good thing. When I got the tiller home I backed up to it and it fit on my I-Match like it was made for it, that was a pleasant surprise, that I didn't expect.

Thanks for the feedback on Kuhn Randy. It looks like there are a couple of Kuhn dealers not too far away so I will have to go take a look.
I am also going to take a look at CCM as suggested by Mark and Jerry but it's kind of tough buying something sight unseen.
Any other comments about tillers out there?

Kuhn publishes their weight on the tillers with the optional wheel attachment installed on their tillers. Kuhn is the only MFG to publish their weight like this. By doing this their tillers look on paper heavier that other MFG's but that is frankly not the case. Kuhn does make a quality tiller but they are playing games with the weight stats.
