I want to order a hydraulic top link for my 4320, but I'm a few hours away from my tractor. Does anyone know what the minimum and maximum lengths on the OEM top link are? I was looking at a hydraulic top link that adjusts from 20" to 28".

Thanks

I would think the top link on that tractor would require a longer top link than 28 inches. Carter & Carter lists a 21-32 inch hydraulic top link with pilot valves.

My past experience with top and side links without the pilot valves has lead me to the conclusion one should never install a top and side link without the pilot valves. Give Carter a call they can assist you.

I'm sure that this topic has been beaten to death, but if my hyraulic system is tight, why do I need the check-valves? I don't plan on standing under an implement while it is being held in place with the cylinder. Is there really a chance that the cylinder could slip down that much?
