JD 4310 PTO & MFWD solenoids

First question. What is the default connection to the front axle if there is no power to the solenoid? Locked or unlocked?

The default for for the 4310 is locked for the FWD assist. When you have it in 2wd the solenoid is energized and disengages the 4wd.
