Scott...

I dunno... this unit just came out this year... besides... the $23. may not be the best price... /w3tcompact/icons/blush.gif

I would spend at least a month of vacation time and call long distance maybe at least 250 JD dealers around the world... just maybe... maybe someone has it cheaper... than $23... ? /w3tcompact/icons/tongue.gif /w3tcompact/icons/wink.gif

You may have a point there....Maybe even buy one long distance and have it hauled in on a semi....Might wait a year and get a good price on a used one, that way they might have some of the bugs worked out of it......I hope it is not a turf destroyer.....I don't want to tear up the yard when I push it around.

I am not sure of the tranny but it does come with a MMM and front mounted snow blower so I don't think I can pass this deal up. I am going to probally buy it from a out of state dealer though as I doubt I will have any warranty issues with a JD and the out of state dealer is a few dollars cheaper. Do you think it will fit on my 16' utility trailer or should I hire someone to haul it?

Do you think I would be ok if I bought this one and hauled it with my Yugo pickup. Oh yea and hey Robert do you mind if I borrow your 16' trailer to pull it with. Or should I just buy my own 12' trailer to haul it on. I found one but the floor needs replaced. What do you think the best way to replace the boards is? /w3tcompact/icons/laugh.gif /w3tcompact/icons/laugh.gif

On the surface it does seem like a good deal but with a bit of good old fashioned negotiating I'll bet you can get the dealer to throw in TnT, some work lights, and a free 50 hour service. Of course the downside is it appears you are about to buy a tractor without a FEL. Shame on you /w3tcompact/icons/smile.gif

Ahhhhhhhhhhh.... I wish I could advise ya Robert... those are some very tough questions...

...Now as I write this...

First do a search on all the 176032 Posts here on TBN... it's very possible that question may have been asked before... but then again this is a unique situation...

If all else fails you now have a brain trust of 4918 Registered Users and God only knows how many "unregistered" users that could each give you a detailed answer on the best course of action in your particular case...

Finally, how much does your budget allow ya...

Lastly... how many acres are you going to use this workhorse on...? /w3tcompact/icons/wink.gif
