There is one flasher unit for both the turn signals and the hazards. I
went with a separate generic flasher from Kragen's and deleted the
turn signals. I have no use for turn signals on a tractor. If I drive my CUT
on the public road, I use the hazard flashers. I imagine some folks use
turn signals, but I have not met one.

Where in the circuit did you stick it??? Got lotsa flasher units in the drawer;-)

As I recall, I used a 2-terminal flasher, and I connected wire #122 to one
terminal and the 2 dark green wires (#115 and #125) to the other. See
diagram.

You must disconnect the JD flasher (behind the turn signal switch). You
can do all this by pulling up the instrument cluster and accessing all
the wires on the back of the turn signal module. I did not price that
unit from JD, but I will bet it's a doozy.

$30-40 if I remember right, but that was a few years back...

Since I am about to buy a bunch of JD parts, I checked on a turn
signal flasher/hazard unit, and it seems to be $57, plus shipping and/or
sales tax. That's an easy route to go, but so is my customized
approach.

$57 American normally works out to about $75 Canadian.... :-(
