JD 430

Looking at a 1988 JD430 with 60 inch deck, rear tiller, blade, and snowblower and it is powered by a Yanmar diesel with 1276 hrs on the engine. Runs great. Accessories are in good condition and I don't think the snowblower was that much. Owner is asking $3K for it which appears to be a great deal for it. I have a two acre yard and a long driveway/private road that might need plowing. Just looking for a little input on this tractor.

The 430 is one of the best L&G tractors JD ever made. I owned one twenty years ago. The Yanmar engine will provide long service. Those hours are OK. Price sounds good. I would go for it.

Better get it bought. Depending on the models of the attachments they are worth most of that alone around here.
