JD 4200 parking break light

New member and new owner here! My JD 4200 parking break light will not go off when the break is released. I can move the lever a little and will go off but soon as I take my hand off it comes back on. The break is released. Thanks

Might track down the sensor and see if it needs some fine adjustment, as it sounds like it is off just a tad. The terminal connector is shown in the wiring harness schematic as key# 22 for the parking brake sensor.

Might be hard to find, and even have to remove a wheel and the fender to find the wire harness bundle.

Found it! Not easy to get to but managed to get the two screws holding it loose but there didn’t seem to be any movement as far as adjusting. Guess a new switch is next.
