Has anyone had any experience with their JD 4120 doing the crab walk on slippery ground? My 4120 will have the back end start quickly going to the side as if the back is trying to pass the front on slippery (muddy, gravelly, even if almost level) ground. Scary next to a steep drop off. Any ideas what the problem is?

With/without loader?
Which tires? Ag/turf/r4
Do you have weight on the rear of the tractor? Tire ballast/wheel weights/weight on 3-point?
Front wheel assist engaged/disengaged?

Any kind of side slope in mud the rear will chew it's way down hill, especially with the diff lock engaged.
A 4wd with the fronts pulling will do a bit better but the rear will often still work down hill.
