OK, Here's what I am hoping to get.
JD 4110 R4s
Duel SCV
rear hydraulic outlet
Frops (tall hoop for BH)
Block heater
410 FEL (ballast box + level indicator)
46 BH
I total that out at 23,827 list price from the JD web site.
10% off would be 21,444
15% off would be 20,252
20% off would be 19,061
25% off would be 17,890
My closest dealer (and one I've bought from before) gave
me a price of $21,900 which they said was a good discount
because they added in $650 worth of setup and delivery
fees. After I told them that was too high and left, they
emailed me a new price of about $21,000.
The next closer dealer quoted me 23,338. $500 off
list price.
The next dealer (still under 30 miles) quoted me 20,500.
I know the axiom, "Buy from the best dealer." but to be honest.
I don't really know how to tell the best dealer. They all have
active parts departments. They all have apparently well run
and active repair shops. My other Deere had no problems
in the 6 years I've owner it (LT166 Lawn Tractor)
so I don't have any experience with that dealers quality of work
or attitude, so it's kind of luck of the draw anyway. I like
all the sales people well enough. They are all helpful and
not pushy.
So is the 20,500 as good as I'll get, or should I go farther
west (away from the city) and keep looking?
Thanks for any advice,
Cliff
(Don't laugh, it's not the amount of land you have, it's what
you need to do with it the defines what tractor you need.)
(OK, maybe you can laugh.)
