I am having an issue when trying to start my JD 4100. The few times that it does start everything turns on correctly and when you throttle up or sometimes just pick up the loader it will cut off. When attempting to restart the tractor the Oil Pressure indicator light will come on but not the Battery light and there is no click from the fuel solenoid. Also, when the battery light does not come on the hazard indicator comes on as does the PTO light. I am thinking the problem is somewhere in the electrical but am not sure where. I have checked the fuses, battery terminals, and a few other things but cannot figure out what is wrong. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

:welcome:

Any possibility of "rodent" damage to the wiring loom under the instrument panel? Seems some wires may be bared and cross-circuiting?

"Evidence" is usually in the form of 'droppings', nesting materials where you wouldn't normally see such debris and urine smell.

Regards,
:wrench:
