Hi, we just bought a JD 4100 and was interested in what Deere snow plow models would work on this tractor, thanks

There isn't one. Model Number I mean. I'm looking in an old Buyers Guide and they only refer to it as a 54" blade. Other blades like for a 790 have a model number. Strange!

They list five tractors for that blade, but don't say if they are all identical or need to be ordered for a particular model.

Yeah that's what I sort have come up with. Also a "Quick Hitch"?? I wasn't sure if it were outdated and varied with the years on not, thanks

Look down below these posts and go to the "Snow Attachments" thread listed there.

I have a 7' Western plow on my 4300, but think a shorter plow for your 4100 would be good..
JD seems to just have the 54" blades for the compact utility tractors but that would be too short IMO.
60" - 72" would be a better fit to cover most snow depths.
If deeper, or wetter, snow, then taking them on with less bite may be needed.

I prefer attachment direct to the tractor, not added on to the FEL. But certainly people are happy with both setups.
