The JD has the brake pedals on the correct (left) side so you can use them for brake steering.

Hey somebody has to take up Cowboydoc's and Rockyridge's slack.

The 3720 is a great tractor. I'm sure the Kubota is a good machine too.

Make sure you check out the dealer's really well for service, parts, etc.

JD has an online parts dept that you can look up parts, exploded views, prices, availability and even order if you want to. No one comes close to that.

Dealers are both equidistant and both are great. I've run Kubota i the past and all was well with the machine. The thing about the JD that scares me a bit is dealing with a turbo in the event of problems and does the JD have a differential lock?

The JD's do indeed have a diff lock, and turbochargers are a very simple and proven design that boost performance and efficiency.
You need to drive each one, and then ask more specific questions, your "any comments" is just to broad.
