A battery salesman asked me to find out the BCI number with regards to replacing a battery in a JD 3720. The operator's manual call for 500 Cold Cranking Amps at 0 deg F. The tractor has a CCA 600 and 745 CA @32 deg F in it now. Could someone please tell me where I can find information about this BCI number so I can make the correct purchase. Thanks in advance.

/ JD 3720 BATTERY QUESTION #3
I had a 3720 battery quit on my a year or so ago. I shopped around and couldn't find anything that would fit except t go to a John Deere dealer and pick one up. They are about the same price as the previous poster alluded to.

I find it hard to believe people still buy batteries where you need to add acid yourself.
