Jim, I have been reading the comments on the 346 baler that you have posted. we are have the same problem yesterday. we replaced the twister hooks(noticed grooves in them) and it helped a little. after reading about the shafts having grooves, I do see groves in them as well. this one seems to cut the twist off short at times. Then pulling the wire apart at the twist. could this be from the grooves in the shaft? or could the grippers be out of adjustment?
