JD 346 BALER

I have just recently acquired a 346 wire baler and it will some times make 5 or 6 good bales and then it will not tie on the right side, the wire slips out of the gripper.

I have the book for it but the pictures are terrible and the directions aren't to good for adjusting the grippers.

Is it possible for one gripper to be out of adjustment but not the other?

Any help would be greatly appreciated
