I've had my JD 3320 O/S for just over three years and for the most part it has done everything asked. During the winter my son & I were doing a little project and needed to borrow a couple of the neighbors big Cab tractors and then shortly after my son sold his JD 790 and purchased a Kioti DK65 Cab.

Not long after, I started to think having heat in the winter and AC in the summer might not be a bad idea. Thinking a bit more FEL capacity might be nice I looked at the JD 4x20 models and even briefly considered the 5E Limited. I was close to ordering new, when an email arrived accepting an offer I had placed on a lightly used JD 3320 Cab.

It has HST, Cab, 300CX FEL with heavy duty bucket, Wallenstein GX720 BH with 18" bucket and 60" Lucknow Snow Blower. I'm going to add a Mid PTO for the MMM and Power Beyond for the BH, which is currently powered through the third rear SCV.

Picture is from camera phone so quality is not great.

Congrats Cinder! Nearly matching bookends!

Like to hear how the backhoe performance compares - JD vs Wallenstein.

Man, that is some snow bucket you've got there! What model is that?

Between the fully equipped 3320s' and your son's DK65 it appears you have practically all the bases covered. Nice machines, especially having one w/ R4's and one with turfs!

Looks like you'll not have any problem with farmiliarity with the controls on your new tractor.

Congratulations!

It's a Horst HLA 84" High Volume Bucket. I had looked at new power angle front blades for snow, however got hung up on price. At the time, it seemed the only used blades available were Horst 3000 series with SS attach. At 900 lb's plus the cost to convert the SS carrier to JD, they seemed both too heavy and too expensive.

For local conditions a bucket works reasonably well for snow and I found the extra capacity and width of the HLA, compared to the standard 61" JD bucket, reduced the time for snow clearing considerably.

Next winter I'll try the Lucknow snow blower. It came with the cab tractor since the seller did not want to split the package.

Congrats!!! The cabbed 3x20's seem to be nice machines. More pics would be welcome. ;)
