JD 3320 and 6' tiller

I recently purhased a 2005 John Deere 3320; it's in great shape and has 1020 hours. I want to use it to till up food plots and was looking at tillers. The farmer down the street has a 6' tiller he said I can borrow, no charge. Any advice on whether the 3320 will handle a tiller that size? All the discussion seem to be about 4' vs. 5'.

I have a 3320 hydrostat cab and I run a 6' tiller. I have zero issues.

All depends, your tractor would NOT run my 6' tiller, all tillers are NOT created equal.

If it's some light duty tiller, then that's different, and also it matters what you are tilling too...

You'll be fine. Ive run a 6ft tiller on a kubota b2920, l3200, l3400, and lx3310 without issue. For reference, that b2920 is like half the weight of your tractor and only 4ft wide. If its very heavy clay, you'll just have to take it slower and make more passes.

Depends on soil types mainly. I run a 7ft HD tiller on hard clay and it can bog my 63hp pto tractor down fast.

I've run a 5' JD tilling on my machine (BX2200) in clay. I do it slow. However if I get my subsoiler and loosen up the soil a bit, the machine works so much better and I can go a lot quicker. Just a suggestion.
