jd 3020 mid mount/pto

I have 65 jd 3020 gas & upon looking under it and asking I have a mid pto .....my ? is what do I need and what would you recommend for a mid mount sickle bar mower and since I know nothing about the mid mount pto any operational or info is greatfully appreciated......thank you very much....reason for wanting is for mowing around ponds and ditches.....how much am I looking at used?

If you can find a mid-mount mower I'll it will cost $1500-$2000

The only mid mount sickle mower I have seen was at the Two Cylinder show a couple of weeks ago. I believe they were fairly rare. It may be cheaper to look for a 3 pt sickle mower.

You need to pick up a JD model 50 side mower;but you have to make sure it was for a row crop tractor and not a utility tractor. A pretty good mower as sicklebar mowers go.Used 2 of them for years until I bought a NH 617 disc mower. Havent put the 50's on since then.
