Hello;

Will a 300CX bucket mount on s 400CX loader and visa versa?

I am ordering a grapple and the company tells me they only set them up to fit the 400CX loaders and if I want it to fit a 300CX I will have to do the fitting and welding myself. If this was 2010 it would be no problem but in 2011 I had a stroke and this year total knee replacement. Therefore when the grapple is dropped off here I would like to put it to work without having to work on it.

Seems to me the only differance would be the center to center measurement on the bucket hooks.

thanks, nicholas

The 200, 300 and 400 Series Loaders all use the same JD Quick Attach brackets - you should have no problem at all

pane056,

Did you end up getting the grapple? If so, was it a direct hook-up or did you need to modify anything? Thanks.

EDIT: Correct

The 500 series loaders place the lower pin around 2" lower from the top bracket than the 200/30/400 series loaders. Some implements have both sets of pins, but many do not.

Here is an example where you can see both sets of pins on an implement:

Sorry to say, but this is incorrect.

I think you have the loader size break wrong.
Upper pin 200, 300 and 400 loaders. Lower pin 500 loaders.
