JD 2440 hydraulics

Where do you add hydraulic fluid to a JD 2440? I assume the tractor is low on fluid because as a drive the bucket slowly falls without me touching the controls

I can't answer the where-to-fill question, but that problem does not sound like a low oil problem, sounds like you got a leaky valve or cylinder...

Trans/hydraulic fill is behind the seat. Dipstick should be back inner corner of right foot rest.
