3-Point Hitch Jd 2305 mower lift

I have a 2305, when new (2010) I took the mower deck off and used a box blade, put the mower deck back on and tractor wouldn't lift the deck. Figured out it was missing the travel bar that came with the tractor. I welded a 2 inch by 6 inch plate on the arm on the left rear 3 point hitch. Now the deck will lift with or without any attachment installed. Thought someone might like the idea. Pic attached.

Henri88---- agreed, at the time I didn't have the Quick hitch - I loved it so much I bought one on line and sent one to my Dad. His comment was ill never use it, that's for a lazy man. Yeap. Something about old and tricks.
I do have to say,
Time to time I have the iHitch off for my homemade ballast box and hitch bar. There not standard sized so that little plate has saved me aggravation ...

I have never removed my quick hitch since I bought it 2 years ago. Everything's hooks up on it, even made a 3 point receiver hitch to move the boat and trailer around. Thumbs up to your dad.
