JD 2305 Drive Shaft U-Joint = Kabota?

I have searched but came up empty. I need u joints for my drive-shaft and understand Kabota has them for their machines and are the same as JD. Unfortunately JD only sells the entire shaft at over $500.00 which I just can not afford at this time. Any help with pt numbers would be helpful.

I have a 2305 ( year 2010 ). About a month ago, I put c410 u joints on both ends. $25 each from NAPA. The gray ting is the zerk in the end cap. I'm able to grease each without any trouble. Each joint came with 4 snap rings. Had to use one of my old ones on each joint to fit around zerk. I also had to take all 4 caps off each joint and grind a 1/16 th off so I could get the snap ring to fit in the grove. ( easier than it sounds). Good luck

Why didn't you just go to JD and buy new spiders? I had to put new bearing in my u joints a couple years back and had ZERO problem getting the bearings from JD. ---- BUT next time I will consider the NAPA ones with the end zerk, I still cannot get at them dam zerks unless I disassemble the entire tractor!!!!

I called JD here in Orlando. It was $49 each. Only JD dealer in town. Plus the wait. I would still have the problem of not being able to grease the zerk while it's on the tractor. I asked on a 2210 driveshaft forum here on TBN if anyone knew the Napa joint part number that would fit. No reply. I went to a store winthe the driveshaft in hand- the c410 fit. ( except for grinding 1/16 th off each post.). I posted pics last month under 2305 driveshaft and how I did it.
I can drop the shaft in ten mins. Maybe 20 mins to install spiders and put back on. I can't tell you how much I love the zerk on the end of the cap. After 5 hours of mowing, I greased both joints with the deck on. Not optional- but can be done.vrs dropping. Best of luck. Bill V

Correction, I just went out and looked at box-- it jus says plain 410. On other threads, I seen C410 and PUJ410. I asked what one I should use but got no response. The plain 410 in stock fit so that's what I used.
