I agree.
As a kid, I worked a custom baling operation. We used 14, 24, 224, 336 (hope I got all the numbers right), both twine and wire. They worked flawlessly!
All required regular maintenance and repair, but once you had the knotters/wire wraps adjusted properly, we could bale all day and generally, the only time we lost a bale was when the twine or wire would change balls and get hung up.
The owner had at least 2, sometimes 3, running all the time. We'd put a lifetime of bales through one every season. He'd run them 2-3 yrs, then trade for a newer one.
