Oil & Fuel JD 2120 Roto Diesel Fuel Injection Pump Leak

I have a 2120 and diesel has recently started leaking from the fuel injection pump. It looks like it is leaking from one of the fuel pressure lines or somewhere on the bottom around the speed advance. I know I can replace the washers on the pressure lines if it is leaking there, but I am not clear on how to repair the leak if it is around the speed advance. Do I need to pull the pump and send it to a repair shop if the leak is around the speed advance?

Try to send him a pm (message) and hope he can do that for you. He has shown to be a big help here, and knows injection pumps.
There are others too, but don't recall their forum names.

My JD 2030 had a line (to injector) leak that washer replacement fixed.

Hey mate how did you get on with you fuel pump? I believe I have the same problem on my 2120. Just wanting to know if it’s an easier fix that can be done at home.
