Hi, I own a 1961 John Deere 2010 gas construction model with loader. It runs great (even though I know it's considered a lemon) but when you start it up, the 3 point raises up on its own and keeps fighting to go up. Which lugs the engine. When I shut down the tractor the 3 point slowly drops back down. If I start if with the hydraulic disconnect engaged it runs perfect. The second I reconnect it, the 3 point goes back up and the engine lugs again. The tractor functions fine. Goes into gear and drives as well at the pto functions normally but I know it's alot of unwanted added stress on the engine. Also the 3 point control arm feels as though it isn't connected to anything. There's obviously no engagement but it feels limp. I tried adjusting the 3 point so it would stop at least but the adjuster screw is stuck. Anyone have any ideas before I start tearing into it? Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thank you!
