Last spring I purchased a JD 8320. I have used it for one season and enjoyed it a lot. I was notified today that it has a recall on it to replace the crank shaft. /forums/images/graemlins/frown.gif I have read in some advertising about some 20 series tractors that have rebuilt engines. Is this due to the crank shafts breaking? Is there anyone out there that has experienced this. Did it do any further damage to the engine. I am a little worried about this replacement and wonder if the cost to replace the defective (or not) crank shaft would be better spent replacing the engine. That is a big job even if it is under warranty. Thanks!
